Martha Lucille Robbins

Martha Lucille Robbins, 85, of Carthage, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Tyler.  She was born December 16, 1927 in Shelby County to John Jacobs and Stella Wilburn Jacobs.  Mrs. Robbins was a faithful woman of God and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She deeply loved children and God called her to Heaven to help care for the children.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center and at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Friday, March 1, 2013, at Carthage Church of Christ in Carthage.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013, at Carthage Church of Christ with Steve Wiggins officiating.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

 

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Robbins’ sons and sons-in-law.

 

She is survived by

Husband: Daniel Robbins of Carthage

Tol Alvin Miller Jr. and wife, Peggy of Austin

Johnny Lee Miller and wife, Rhonda of Center

Eddie Lynn Miller and wife, Patty of Tenaha

Richard Dale Miller and wife, Lisa of Center

 

Daughters:

Toshi White and husband, Kent of Lufkin

Valarie Davis and husband, Glen of Huntington

Shelly Quintero of Huntington

 

21 Grandchildren

 

15 Great Grandchildren

 

Brothers:

Harold Jacobs and wife, Dorothy of Troup

Roy Jacobs of Huxley

Mary Hill of Carthage

 

A number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends

 

Preceded in death by

Parents: John Jacobs and Stella Wilburn Jacobs
