Kent “Hot Rod” Adkinson, 49, of Center, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013.  He was born September 17, 1963 in Quanah to Willie K Adkinson and Velma Lorene McIntyre Adkinson.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Cookies Fitzgerald officiating.  Interment will follow at White Rock Cemetery in Center.

 

Pallbearers will be Robert Phillips, Gene Phillips, Steve Phillips, Charlie Smith, Johnny Brittain and Shelton Martin.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Tyson Feed Truck Drivers of the Nacogdoches Complex. 

 

He is survived by

Wife: Faye “Cissy” Adkinson of Center

 

Sons:

Marcus Adkinson and wife, Stacy of Center

Michael Wayne Adkinson of Center

Justin Dakota Adkinson of Center

 

Daughter: Heather Lynn Adkinson of Center

 

Special sons:

Brian Horton

Jorge Martinez

 

Grandchildren:

Kolton Adkinson, Cody Adkinson, Karson Adkinson, Bailey Miller, Heath Hughes, Kynlee Adkinson, Bella Adkinson, Keithan Horton, Kage Horton

Betty Joyce Ferguson of Garrison

Etta Jane Ferguson of Nacogdoches
