- Albert Earl Rushing, 65, of Center, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at a Tyler hospital. He was born October 21, 1944 in San Augustine to Albert Rushing and Dura Mae Wheeler. Mr. Rushing served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam war were he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He later served in the national guard for a number of years. Mr. Rushing was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, January 29, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Sandy Little officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Shelby County.
